This variety of dermal filler is also hyaluronic acid based but uses Resilient Hyaluronic Acid, which typically lasts longer and can appear less rigid than traditional HA fillers. RHA fillers are great for lips since they are durable and can withstand the constant movement of the mouth.
For a flexible, natural lip fill look, we choose Restylane Kysse. This RHA filler provides fullness and volume while still allowing natural movement of the lips. Restylane Kysse also smooths the lips and can correct fine lines on and around the lips.

Our Miami lip filler patients appointment will begin with a skin cleansing and the application of a topical numbing agent. Then, your skilled injector will use very fine needles to delicately administer the filler in or near your lips. Treatments are usually only about 30 minutes or less.
After your lip filler procedure, you should be able to resume most daily activities right away since there is no sedation or anesthesia involved. You will need to wait a few hours to eat or drink until the numbing agent has worn off. You will experience some swelling and possibly bruising for several days post-procedure. This is normal and resolves on its own in the vast majority of cases. The length of results will vary, but with the products that we use, many of our patients see results for up to a year or more.
It’s important to be aware of what to expect after you receive the treatment to ensure the healing process goes smoothly.
You can expect noticeable swelling near injection sites.
You will likely experience the most extensive swelling, which may cause discomfort. This is normal.
By this point, you will likely be past peak swelling, and any injection site tenderness should be resolved.
Extreme swelling will resolve, though you may start to notice bruising. Overall, the lips should begin to settle, with swelling and bruising starting to subside.
Lips have almost completely stabilized, and you should no longer notice any extreme changes. Eating and drinking will feel more natural.
